YES! After four months of searching for a job! The wife gets THE call!
WOO HOO! I was starting to sweat things for a bit. Holy crap, four months with only a contact here and a contact there it was starting to look bleak. What a load off our collective shoulders. Thanks for allowing me this brief WOO HOO! and happy dance on the Lounge floor.

4. It's for a small metal manufacturing business in the suburbs. They are dying for someone to do
business analysis for them, reporting, benchmarking, all that good stuff. The really cool thing about it, they want her bad enough that they offered her a project on contract so she can get a feel for how the company works and decide if she wants to work for them or not since they realize that they aren't exactly the corporate work that she's used to. They are really trying to woo her as it is.

We should be getting specifics by Friday but they didn't bat an eye when they saw her salary requirements.

They don't need to know that we aren't exactly in the position to be picky. LoL.

Damn, it's such a load off of my mind. I've been thinking about this constantly and trying to maintain my cool about everything. She sounds pretty happy too from the call I got, she was getting a little stir crazy. All I can say is WHEEEHWWWWWW!

5. Good news!
Tell her to be extra careful with her taxes while she's on contracting. I am STILL paying the IRS for a SS Tax mistake I made when I was doing that THREE YEARS AGO.

But if she's a business analyst, she's probably better at taxes than I was....
