i'm always a bit worried about offending people here. i often let my emotional side get the best of me and let my political feelings fly, sometimes to the point of dehumanizing those on the other side of the aisle. i find conservatives to be immoral, disgusting and intolerant...and i find myself intolerant of their intolerance. so, i guess that makes me intolerant too. i can be a bit extreme, and DUers with right wing family members tend to get a little miffed at me. it's why i'm not a good spokeperson for the left.

so, thanks for still being my friend.

i found this orchid on the ground, it had fallen from a tree on the beach at pavones. i took it back to golfito to my property and tied it to a tree and the next day it bloomed. check it out:

there have been times when i've gotten in arguments with DUers here, usually because of my bad attitude about TX (where i lived for 11 years). but, no matter how pissed off people have gotten at me, we've always connected in positive ways in other conversations. i'm grateful they never blocked me, even though i could imagine why they might want to.

I've used the IGNORE feature - usually to let off steam, and inevitably I relent and clear the damn thing. I'd never be such a coward as to completely block someone
