How long should Tupperware(tm) mixing bowls last?
The one I regularly use for mixing has started developing a tear down the side.

Why ? I'll have to post a pic, but this set of 4 (one green, one yellow, one red, and one blue) was given to my by mum. They've got to be 35 years old.

35 years old and they finally break down. x( I thought plastic lasted forever.

1. Forever. That stuff doesn't biodegrade.
But 35 years is a good deal. The suff they make now is really flimsy. I think it's really made to be "disposable," so people buy more.

2. IIRC, Tupperware is supposed to have a lifetime warranty.
If it tears, breaks, whatever, you're supposed to get a free replacement. I have no idea where to go for the replacement, but you can try www.tupperware.com to see if you can contact someone.

6. No doubt.
No apology needed. I've lived through far worse.
