I'm currently tied for second place, more or less, in the Preditors and Editors reader's choice poll.
http://www.critters.org/predpoll/author.shtmlIt's been going hot and heavy all night. I've never been higher than 2nd place, which is cool with me, but I have a feeling I'm getting close to being kicked down to third. I'd rather not go that far down in the poll.
Being an author in this day and age (particularly a successful one) is all about exposure, and the higher I place on this poll, the greater my exposure in the long run.
DU has been a great help to me in this and I was wondering if I could get some of the loungers to add their votes to the tally.
Like I said, I don't even care about being number 1 (though I wouldn't cry if I were) but I'd like to hang on to my spot in 2nd place.
It's easy to vote.
My novel, Freak City, is also listed under novelssf, but it's coming in at about 12. I'd like to see it jump in the rankings, but I'm more concerned with the author's poll this year.
Any help you'd care to give me would be much appreciated, folks.
Just click here and follow the instructions:
http://www.critters.org/predpoll/author.shtmlI won't paste a link to the novel category...most of you haven't read Freak City and, while you have some idea of my skill as a writer, I wouldn't expect you to vote for a novel you've never read.
Thanks ahead of time,
