Psychic Moment or Coincidence?
So last night I'm watching a promo for that Ricky Jarvis show Extras. I say to my GF, he reminds me of David Bowie. And she says, Huh? I don't see that. I say, yeah, he looks like a chubbie David Bowie.

Then the shot changes to another clip and David Bowie is suddenly on screen talking to Ricky Jarvis.

Stuff like that happens to me all the time. Once I was on the cross Island Express Way and a raspberry colored car with the license plate "raspberry" passed me on the left. So I start singing Raspberry Beret - I turn on the radio and Raspberry Beret is ON the radio.

And whenever I think of a song or TV show I haven't seen or heard in a really long time, within a few hours it will be on TV or on the radio. I always say things during football games that the announcers say seconds later, tho that may have more to do with my football knowledge that ESP.

And tho my psychic abilities seemed to be limited to TV and radio, once in high school I was standing outside the gym watching baseball practice thru a small window in the door. I said to whoever was standing next to me, that player is going to throw the ball and it's going to break this window - and seconds later it did.

In college I imagine a friend as a visual reference in a scene I was doing in acting class. I hadn't seen her in a year and on my way home I ran into her.

And two days before 9/11 I was watching a plane flying toward Manhattan and said, I wonder what would happen if that plane hit the world trade ctr. But then the World Trade Ctr was right in the middle of my view from my apt. window and probably thought that frequently.

But the Bowie thing was weird.

Does that kind of thing happen to you?

4. Seriously I Have Things Like That Happen Too
I think there is a bit of the psychic in all of us.

Doubt it is really a mysterious thing, think about how people lived for most of recorded history, they depended on their intuition, their feelings, etc.

Only recently in history have we become so disconnected as a society from our feelings and intuitions.

And some have probably always been more in tune so to speak.

yes, pick your own numbers, and if you win at least let us know!

5. .
". . . in the specific case of coincidences ... there is an unspecified element, which makes the probability of coincidences higher than we otherwise might have thought. Although the person is specific (you), we do not specify what kind of coincidence will take place . . . I'm not saying coincidence is common - only that it's not as rare as we think. The reason is that the aggregation of causes happens in so many possible ways that eventually a coincidence becomes unavoidable."

8. I think it mostly just a coincidence - miniscule random happenings in a giant universe....
... but you knew I was going to say that, didn't you? .....
