One glass of wine...

and I'm ready to fall asleep. I don't get it. I can drink several beers and not feel this way.

but I think I figured out why... it's a chardonnay -- too sweet. Reds don't do this. I should have thought about that.

8. I've always been a beer person...

nice dark porters and ales. I used white wine in a chicken dish and so am drinking the rest of the bottle. Give me a Black Butte Porter anyday!

beer vs. wine, alcohol wise there shouldn't be any difference in alcohol (other than quantity)

I have troubles with insomnia, so pretty much as a matter of routine, I drink at least one glass of red wine before bedtime. Mellows me out pretty good.
