These tangerines are a BIG disappointment.
I bought some tangerines today. First time in awhile.

Anyway, they just don't seem sweet and tangy enough.

Is it just a bad bag or have they screwed up tangerines now?

2. I've binged on those already!
That's why I was looking forward to the zippy tangy tangerine. For a change of pace, you know?

I'll try another store tomorrow and update my results. :)

7. Huh! Coulda sworn they were Clementes. Learning the language, here,
but slowly. My daughter babysit last week for some friends' grandkids visiting from back east somewhere. They were alreay addicted, scarfed down a bag while she was there - except they called them "tsunamis".

8. Those would be "Satsumas"..not tsunamis
:)

http://www.ceresfruit.com/satsumaoranges.html

More like tangerines than oranges, satsumas conceal a fabulously delicious fruit in a deceptively plain wrapper. The greenish orange/yellow peel comes off in a flash to reveal bite-size sections with very few seeds. These fruits are local favorites.

Satsumas are in season in November through early January. They ship by second day air. Order yours now - the satsuma boom has begun!

Shipping & handling charges will be added to order. S&H is 19.10 for 8 lbs, and $12.25 for 4 lbs.

9. Oooh, nice -
I love it here! Didn't have any of this stuff in Nebraska. Even have a winning football team here.

4. dunno about the tangerines...
....but that pic of Ella is a treat. Thanks.

The new variety of itty bitty citrus named "Cutie Pie" is pretty good. Safeway had boxes of it recently.
