**I have a problem**

And it is waaaay too early for me to retire........

7. It Touches My Soul

I've always fallen asleep listening to classical music

when I was a kid I'd go to symphony concerts with my family and I'd inevitably fall asleep. No matter what I did, the music would just lull me to sleep

I have a lovely sliding glass door about 7 feet away from me....

I pulled the curtain, since it is rather like sitting in a goldfish bowl at night!

I face the street here in my study!

I'm going to stretch my legs and stroll outside onto my deck.......BRB!

10. I hope it helps.

I just moved into he 5th floor of an 11 floor condo building.

I do get the opportunity to go up to the 11th floor common space and look out and see the NYC skyline every night.

If it's overcast, I can't even see the Empire State Building. But on nights like tonight, I can see from the George Washington Bridge way uptown to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge below downtown Manhattan. And everything in between.

On edit: I'm on my way up there, so I'll send energy vibes your way from the other coast.

I did just now step outside......

The skies are very dark, with puffy bits of clouds....

I can see a few stars.........

The air is cold!

There's a distinct snap to it.......

And far off in the distance, I can just see the LA city lights glittering...

Quite a beautiful night! And if you hadn't suggested that I have a look...

But after returning from upstairs, we've got one heck of s skyline around these parts.

It's different then when I lived in Brooklyn, when you felt as though you could reach out and touch the Empire State Building.

But still inspiring, nonetheless.

I have recently discovered WKSU......Kent State University radio.......

In Ohio.....it was suggested to me by one of my Ohio friends........

They play somewhat shorter pieces, but no commercials......

And I love their selections......

And since my husband just bought me brand new speakers for my Nov birthday, the music just sounds incredibly great!

They also have bluegrass and other types of music........

I kept trying to tell that to the classical station owners around here; but they've dwindled down from 4 full-time classical/1 part time classical to 1 full-time classical, soon-to-be sports radio. :(

We may get our public radio classical station back, though. Going to all-talk NPR didn't rake in more listeners, for some reason.
