Band rocks, man. Especially the bass section (Me!).

(I'm just excited for pep band tonight. Woohoo! I get to play Zoot Suit Riot!)

Have a great day, all. And stay safe and warm!

Luv, MiniMandaRuth, DU's best baritone saxophone player. :loveya:

3. Hey, my dad plays the drums...
And a guy that has a crush on me plays the drums. Drummers rock! (Our drum section is the best, tying with bases for awesomeness)

I heart flutes when they are played well... and I adore jazz flute.

But you should learn something. Trumpet is pretty easy to pick up. You could rent a trumpet and buy a little book and learn. That's how I did it.

8. I always played clarinet
Five years in the county youth wind orchestra (four of which spend on third desk - last year principal!) and my last year of school (age 17-18) in the school orchestra. We played Beethoven's Fifth. We had a chamber orchestra string section and a symphony orchestra brass section.

The orchestra was rather brass heavy. :7

I was a drama geek, actually, which may be several rungs lower on the high-school social ladder. I'm not sure how it shapes up these days.

I started out playing football, but after getting beaten to a pulp on the field once a week for several months my freshman year, it occured to me that football was not for me.

The really high alternate parto of My Sharona for Alto Sax.
