I was almost run over at the grocery store

Asshole in a Mustang was driving about 30 mph in the area closest to the store where a lot of people were walking. I was in the crosswalk (Hello, pedestrian crossing here!) and luckily for me I was pushing a cart in front of me so she would have hit that. Came very close though. I couldn't tell if she was talking on a cell phone or not. Another ignorant asshole allowed to drive.

2. At the risk of offending anyone who owns a Mustang...

...they are usually the *worst* drivers in the world! If I owned an auto insurance company, I would refuse to even insure them. :grr:

4. Sports car drivers in general

I never knew anyone who owned a Mustang so I couldn't say but I know people who own other sports cars.

I think that might be partly why insurance rates for those cars are higher.

Around here, Mustangs are mostly driven by college students although i don't think this person was.

And I will yell at people speeding through parking lots or not stopping at crosswalks. I think a lot of people have no recognicion that other people actually exist. They just don't care. It is sad.

I admit, on the freeways I pick it up a bit, but I do not cut people off, or ride up on people's bumpers. Now, in neighborhoods, school zones, and parking lots, that is no place to be driving fast. I give the evil eye when people drive through my neighborhood fast. People are walking their dogs, and children play.

I suppose as far as owning a Mustang, I try not to be the cliche.

I think all people with buzzbomb mufflers are assholes. They may not be, but I wonder why they want a car that sounds like a swarm of bees in a leaf blower that you can hear from a mile away, even if it is only going 35 mph.

Of course, they may not all be assholes, but I still wonder.

Escalades, Explosions, or whatever the hell those gynormous SUV's are -- especially the one's with "my child is" stickers on um. Every time it's a mom going forward above the safe speed limit, on the phone and turning all the way around in the seat to swat at the kids all at the same time.

7. GIANT pet peeve - anyone that speeds through parking lots!

I was T-boned in a huge way by a young punk in a small pickup in a parking lot when I was driving in the "main artery" of the lot. He was coming from one of the "parking lanes", so I had the right of way. Little punk was claiming I was speeding, but his insurnace ended up paying for the damage - good thing...I was driving my (at the time) wife's car, and she was PISSED at the kid!
