Poll question: Do sequences of your childhood get triggered by looking at certain images?
One look at a picture then reminds you of scene from your own past?

Memories... the delight and the bane of the human condition.

1. Just seeing the Tardis in your sig line reminds me....
I was a young 'un (3 or 4) when the theme music to Dr. Who would have me running and hiding behind the couch. (Dr. Who @ the time was John Pertwee).

I love that music....

2. Seeing any Hot Wheels car does it for me.
I was obsessed with those cars as a kid and entered as many races as I could, winning trophies with The Sixshooter, The Hood, The Nomad and The Bugeye. :)

6. I thought this was the best place to start
I actually wanted to put up a post in the lounge introducing myself, but I learned that you need x-number of replies before you can make your own post!

8. I actually had to think about that, but
by GD you mean General Discussion, right? Somehow the water seems cold for me there so far, even though as I look over the posts (I had lurked for about a month before joining) I seem to agree with a lot that's there. It's just that so many people with so many thousands of posts have such strong opinions that even if I share them I sort of feel like I'm lacking "Dem Cred" when my post count is microscopic, if you know what I mean. I'm new here, but not new to message boards and know that if you're a newbie you want to tread carefully in the beginning. My first post was actually in the "what are your quirks" thread!

9. A Little Golden Book
"Lassie Finds a Friend" -- Lassie and Timmy go to visit Susan. Susan is kind of a prim little witch...that of all things doesn't like Lassie -- until her doll falls in the creek and Lassie goes in and saves the doll. After the rescue, Susan loves Lassie.

I found this book a few years back at an antique shop...and every time I look at it -- it sets off this whole early childhood recollection sequence.

Welcome Q32
