We were going to go out to dinner tonight, but the game's at 4:30 ET. I think we'll go out to dinner tomorrow night.

I was never a big fan of the Rams, and the Raiders? Pfft. Hated it when they were in L.A. Brought the local culture down several notches. ;) But the Chargers are my home football team, and I love 'em. But - never considered myself an L.A. fan for any reason. I'm from Orange County, not Los Angeles. I'm inflexibly regional when it comes to my homesickness, and I tell people so.

Out here in Maryland (DC metro area), people assume "L.A." when I tell them I'm from Southern California. If they ask where Huntington Beach is, I just say "on the coast, about 90 minutes north of San Diego." Sometimes I just tell them I'm from the San Diego area to avoid saying "Orange County." Nine times out of ten, the next comment is "oh, you're from the O.C.!" :puke:
