what with their stink and shedding body parts all over the place. Incredibly stupid and messy. And they leave those damn American Spectators all over the place.

Vampires, though, are pleasant company for tea and crumpets in the evenings. The old ones tell of personally meeting Wilde, Tennyson, Adams, and many others.

They appreciate my oxblood cocktails, and find it a quite adequate replacement for their normal meals, although a few still revel in the hunt.

Cool the place off in the summers, too, and save on air conditioning costs.
