Post a picture of your teepee
I sewed together a teepee for a back-drop for my side business (Southwest Native American Jewelry) recently. It debuted this weekend at the Norco Professional Rodeo. Post a picture of your teepee.

BTW: There were very high winds this weekend. About half a dozen "easy-up" canopies were blown away, and or completely destroyed My teepee survived undamaged and unbowed even though two of my neighbors canopies were piled up on it Saturday morning.

3. Chirichaua and Mescalero Apaches did 4 pole teepee's on occasion.
But we too were mostly wicciup (very much like a wigwam) people.

6. Well I love your tepee
and I would really like to see some of your work. Do you have a website?

When I say that I'm a wigwam person, it isn't because I have Native American ancestry; but because when I look at a picture of a wigwam, it says "home" to me. I have no idea why...

5. Nice teepee
Glad it survived the high winds. :toast:

I don't have a teepee of my own to post a pic of. I have one from the Red Earth Festival in OKC though.

7. that's a lot of work --
will you take your teepee on camping trips?

i think they are so cool -- especially at night if someone has a lantern on in them.

11. Definately will take it on camping trips.
I was going to take it up to Big Bear on new years eve but I did not have door finished. I still need a liner before I can build a small fire in it.
The problem with it is that it is only 10' tall so it can fit in most event vendor spaces. Only a couple of people can fit into it with a fire pit. Even then it will be cramped.

16. cramped or not -- it's quite an achievement.
and close quarters are to be expected when you're camping.

i had friends who made and lived in one -- a pretty big one -- up by russian river here in cali.

when they had the liner in and dew cloth sides -- it was so wonderful.

it's really something -- congrats on such a good outcome with it.

12. Howdy, partener...
:hi:

I love that teepee! And I do like a lot of southwestern jewelry, too...I'll definitely keep an eye out for your Web page, when it's up and running.

Good luck, my fellow astronaut, with everything in your life that means 'prosperity' to you, including the fiscal...

14. She is really, really, really good
Or so I hear.

She's really doing well, actually.

It's been a long time now, but it was a pleasure to meet you way back in that summer of 2004, brief though it may have been...you're a righteous dude, and I happily testify to that truth. :D
