Are you near Schoodic Point?

How cold is it where you are? We had a brief cold snap in December, with temps going down around 20 at night; but that's the coldest it's been. We've barely gotten below freezing.

3. I have heard of Schoodic Point but must say that I have no idea

where it is. Possibly more south than I am, possibly thirty miles away. I am geographically impaired. :(

Winter has just begun to show itself here and I am guessing it won't last too long. Five days ago the temperature dropped below freezing at night for the first time (that I'm aware of) and we've been waking to twenty-degree mornings which warm up to not more than thirty, thirty-five degrees. It's still quite warm for this time of year and I am fantasizing that the crocuses will bloom in March. :rofl: yeah, right.

4. I've seen snowdrops around here...

And some bulbs I planted in October have started coming up. I'm going to have to cover them with leaves later in the week, if it gets as cold as they're predicting.
