WNY Winter (Ice) Storm
We've certainly faired better than the mid-west thusfar, however limbs and power lines are beginning to fall.

This morning when temperatures were below freezing allowed for alot of ice to accumulate on trees, shrubs and powerlines. Currently our saving grace is that temperatures have risen to slightly above freezing (34) however temperatures and rain/sleet are expected into the early evening hours.

It's awful to see the trees under such duress. The birch trees and arborvitaes especially are under quite a bit of weight from a 1/4" of ice.

Here's to the hundreds of thousands of folks in the mid-west who are recovering from the winter storm, we are beginning to experience the same weather.

Be safe, and enjoy nature's beauty in all her fury this afternoon...
