Name ONE thing you accept in life?
I'll start:

I accept reality. (if that's too wishy-washy, I'll say something else...)

6. That my father died before I knew him.
Edited on Mon Jan-15-07 04:50 PM by mainegreen
That only took about 25 years or so to come to terms with.

:(

But I'm a dad now, so I finally get to experience that father-son dynamic. Totally excited for that.

(edited to add That to the subject)

18. Everyone dies. It's a good thing to realize actually. It gets you moving
in some good directions. Making a will, planning and going on those trips you never took, spending more time with the grandkids.

All good stuff. So I'm really happy that happened!

21. Humans are not as significant as we think we are.
We are just specks floating in the cosmos, arriving late to a six-billion-year-old blue planet, and we won't be here forever. We are not the center and ultimate realization of some Sky God's creation.
