i seem to always find people who PERPETUALLY wake up in a bad/sour mood

shit, i'm just happy to wake up. i am always energetic and positive first thing in the morning.

as i get older and my capacity to put up with people's shit gets smaller and smaller, i find this trait to be exceedingly irksome in other people.

there is a difference. cheerful people are often idiots who whistle in the dark because they are scared of the boogey man.


the difference is, i am GRATEFUL. just waking up is a gift. being able to walk is a cause for joy.

sometimes i feel suffused with optimism, other times i want to shoot myself in the head, but i am in a good mood in the mornings because i get one more chance.

but i'm big time into reality and sometimes people mistake that for meanness. especially those who live in various degrees of delusional thinking. which is like 90% of the people you'll run across.

I am NOT a morning person! Although my life right now forces me to be one.

I am downright grouchy for the first 1/2 hour I'm awake. I've been that way since I was a baby, I'm told. Not likely to change....

9. I married such a guy. If everything was perfect then he'd find

something to yell about. I could see him looking around for something out of place or a behavior he disliked and would watch his face turn red before he launched into his shouted complaint. In his defense he hasn't done that for a while. He's trying to change.

I usually have to go to work where I have to be around some people who are not very positive.
