8. You know who I find creepy?
Lindsay Lohan. She has no neck. And she wears stirrup pants and witch boots.

And Penelope Cruz. Can't explain it. I think it's that her head's too little for her body, and she probably diddled Tom Cruise.

(Dang, I'm mean tonight. :D )

33. What a great speech from Bill Nighy!
What a witty guy, and what a classy one. Note how he pointedly recognized Miranda Richardson, who is such a fantastic actress.

Nighy's having a great year, what with a triumphant turn on Broadway in The Vertical Hour. I suspect he may be on stage when they're handing out the Tony Awards, too.

The British are not only coming, THEY'RE HERE!

71. arnold sucks
He should just switch to (D) because he's just a RINO. Just admit it already Arnold and stop sucking bushes little yah know.

The Departed is based on INfernal Affairs, a great Hong Kong thriller which is almost the same plot. I recommend you rent it. Fortunately I can understand some chinese, but they have subtitles and voice-overs.

Kinda ironic that if Marty wins, it won't be from an 'original work' but a remake.

However, most of Marty's movies are bio-opics and have no plot, he's said Departed was his first film with a plot - so hopefully he'll finally get his win!

82. I think you're right. But you'd think they'd have their own. The death montage always tears me up.

86. I think most award shows do it.
I'm fairly certain that there has traditionally been an "In Memoriam" film at most awards shows, such as the Emmy Awards and the Golden Globes.

The Academy Awards virtually always air the tribute segment, but sometimes they leave people out, either due to oversight or the death being so recent that the footage of the honoree's career hasn't been added to the tribute clips.
