44. There was a lot of ugly walking the red carpet last night....

I watched with a friend and we were both struck by how bad much of the fashion was -- bad materials, bad lines, unflattering. They can't seem to find a good balance on hair - it's all either to "done" (a nuke could go off and the hair wouldn't move) or too casual for the dress -- some of it last night looked like "day after the night before" hair.

Also, there was just too much white on too many already pale people -- the look just ends up completely washed out.
