Poll question: Who is gonna win the Super Bowl?
We're down to 4 teams. I was shocked that my beloved Eagles made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs but if they're gonna lose I'm glad it was to New Orleans. That's my pick - that city needs a boost like a Super Bowl championship!

9. Here's a weird reason I'll root for the Colts
As a '72 Dolphin season ticket holder I don't relax and enjoy the season until every team has lost. For the past two years the damn Colts have pissed me off, starting 13-0 and 9-0.

Let the Colts win the Super Bowl and there will be none of that crap to worry about. They will be a contented and marked team, probably losing in the first few weeks next season. There's no other team I'd worry about going unbeaten than one with Manning in his prime.

10. Manning needs to prove himself..
before I'd ever pick his team over the Patriots.

BTW, I'm optimistic about next season's Eagles team! :hi:

13. Given who's left, I'm taking the Pats.
(Homer alert)

The Colts have played horribly in the playoffs - just not as horribly as their opponents so far. The Chiefs submitted a historically bad performance AND gameplan in round 1. Where were the play-action passes? Where was Tony Gonzalez? Where was ANY receiver stretching the defense deep to take pressure outside the box? Just plain horrible.

The Ravens, on the other hand, didn't necessarily play badly. They were just flat out mismatched. Holding the Colts to 15 points is impressive, however, it becomes more impressive when you consider they allowed only two drives of over 50 yards in the entire game. And the Ravens offense, well, it's well documented how bad their offense has been, and Steve McNair, despite the hype, has done little to change matters this season.

The Patriots, on the other hand, took care of business against a very game, but young Jets team and defeated the best team in the NFL this year (Chargers) on the road. They are also 7-1 on the road this year, mitigating home-field advantage for the Colts.

No NFC team is really worth discussing.
