Fewer units than last semester, but no easy classes either.

3. Here's my advice (as a professional student)

The first day of class is always stressful, at least for me. The teacher outlines everything you will do for the class, and it can seem really overwhelming. Just remember you have 15 or 16 weeks to spread out the work.

Then, what I do is really get to work on stuff right away. Things like reading assignments and preliminary research. I find that if I can get a lot of work out of the way, it can ease the burden at the end of the semester. I'm a procrastinator on some things (like actually sitting down to write) but I try to get ahead of the game as much as possible early on.

Of course, this "advice" is coming from someone who has been writing her thesis for more than a year now.......so take it with a grain of sea-salt!
