We both wanted a kid with snark and sarcasm. So along comes Tavernertoddler, and yes - he, at 3, is already snarky and sarcastic.

So now mommy is trying to get him to help her clean and she said "if you don't help me clean, how do you expect me to make the room nice for guests."

and he says "just wait until you yell at daddy - then make HIM do it!"

And he smiles afterwards.

1. They catch on early

One of our twins was giving me her wide-eyed pouty I-want-that look; I told her not to even try that on me it only works on Daddy. She smirked at me and said "I know."

He falls for it every time too.
