We're in Oregon and I've looked through the bird book for our state to no avail. These little guys/gals come here in all seasons.

Black hood (male) on brown, the female is less colorful.

Anyone have an idea?

3. Yep, there are different races of Juncos
spread out around North America each with different feather colors, but all retain the pink bill.

One of my favorite winter birds here in Missouri. Love to come to the bird feeders.
