I'm not talking just clipping coupons or getting what is on sale at the the grocery store. I mean the best value you can get in everything you do. I make block ice to go hunting instead of buying 4 bags of ice. $4.00 dollars is still $4.00 dollars. What do you do to get maximum value ?

1. I cook real oatmeal or make pancakes from scratch for breakfast |
|
instead of eating that expensive boxed cereal.
I use Tupperware-type containers bought at yard sales for storing food for lunches, leftovers, etc., rather than using plastic throwaway bags.
I don't eat out much--maybe once every 2-3 months.
