Someone went to Florida and all I got was this damn cold!

One week after Christmas vacation my girls came home with a terrible cold. Now I have it and it's tipped over into asthma! I figure someone picked up a virus from a differewnt area while on vacation.

1. I'm sorry - I have one I can't seem to shake myself

I was scheduled for arthroscopic surgery on my knee for last Thursday. On Tuesday, i went to my pre-op and the nurse tells me (laughing because what are the odds?) that if I get sick between then and the surgery, they'd have to postpone it.

Day of my surgery, I wake up with a tickle in my throat. :nuke:

Which I ignored, resisted the urge to cough while at the hospital and surgery went fine.

Still have the damn cold though. It's in my chest. I'm coughing up all kinds of interesting stuff. :eyes:

2. I'm getting

something...stuffy nose, tired and so very cold...I can't seem to warm up.

I'm getting over one at the moment. Still hacking up gunk.
