Paula Abdul on AI: whatsup with her?

not to spread rumors, but her demeanor has changed... she seemed like an angry drunk last night. She doesn't want to be there, obviously. She seemed bored, annoyed and was not her usual supportive self with regard to sparing hurt feelings.

AI haters out there, we know you exist.

1. I commented to the husband about how she wasn't her usual supportive self.

Maybe she's locked into a contract she wants out off. Tired of doing AI.

2. didn't watch but ....

on several occasions over the past few years when I saw her on TV I have thought that she appeared drunk, or at least fairly buzzed.

unfortunately, I missed it. But the promo showed a current interview with her and she was SMASHED.

Simon didn't pick on her, he seemed unusually tolerant towards her. Ignoring a problem?

4. I worked with her on AI: Season 2

For a couple of days. (I should add though that I never watch the show.)

Anyway, it seemed very obvious to me that about 2 weeks into the auditions of Season 2 that she had no desire or interest in being there.

I'm also pretty sure that she wasn't drinking at all as I was the one getting/fetching the judges' drinks. However, she still sort of acted...funny. I just don't think she's very bright. She's hit that perfect storm of fame, vanity, insecurity, money and lack of brains. Kind of like our Fearless Leader.

In this clip, the interviewers did'nt call her on it! Maybe FUX execs warned jouranlists to stay off the subject.

I like her, and hope she gets it together before she gets fired.
