Who doesn't love cake?

Cake comes in a variety of colors, flavors, and shapes.


Did you know that Devil's Food cake typically has fewer grams of sugar than Angel Food? So why is it called Angel Food? (did a little devil name it?!)

And, of course, there's America's favorite euphemism, the cupcake. I'll have two, please...

Now who designed the "Bundt" cake? It's got a big hole in the middle. Now I can think of two things here: Somebody was either awfully greedy and wanted to save on ingredient mix, or the other... :blush: I think the other just wasn't able to get his hands on a couple cupcakes...

And as for Twinkies, sure! I'll take one too! I just love that cream filling! :9

Of course, not all cakes are tasty... for instance, have you ever eaten a urinal cake?

Man, look at that cake! It's so yellow! Don't ask what the brown is... but isn't the Pillsbury Dough Thing happy? Anybody getting to put his hands in that moist supreme cake WOULD be happy! :wow:

1. Bundt cakes are made that way so they cook all the way through. Otherwise

they'd be burned on the outside and underdone in the middle. Nobody wants that.

I love cake myself, but Twinkies make me want to hurl.

I even like the band!

I'm doing pretty well; have to go from 146 to about 132 and I'll be happy.
Actually; salt is more my enemy than sugar...I seem to be able to metabolize sugar quicker.

I'm... who knows, I chucked the scale out the window and just concentrated on exercising and not binging on junk food. I probably weight the same, but I can lift twice as much weight for twice as long... which isn't much so far, but it's a start...

I'm trying to diet and I make a great cake with Devils Food Cake Mix and a can of pumpkin (15 oz), also a little water. Mix together and mmm, mmmm, mmmmmm...

The pumpkin keeps the fat down and makes it oh, so moist, yum, yum!:D:9
