Cat location update
Imhotep: passed out on the s.o.'s side of the bed
Caesar: prowling the halls in search of kibble
Quark: on the couch helping the s.o. read the NYT online
Neutrino: passed out on the kitchen counter behind the bread machine (don't ask)
Evie: passed out on the master bedroom floor
Socrates: passed out on my side of the bed
Plato: passed out in my sink in the master bathroom.

That is all. :)

3. Awwwww!
And this is...? Must have the name of cutie!

Plato and Socrates have a timeshare system for napping in the sink. I'm not sure what's involved, but it seems to work. The rest of the time, the line forms to the left for drinking out of same sink. :hi:

4. What's really cool about it is
having a houseful of cats who feel so safe that they'll sleep flat on their backs without a care. That is very good indeed. :hi:

6. Sounds so peaceful
My Ricky is sitting here watching me type -- and occasionally batting at the cursor on the screen
Lucy is sleeping on the bed.
Sam and Wrigley (10 year old litter mates) are curled up together on the bed, in my spot, like usual.
Bratwurst (the dog) is curled up in his kennel next to the desk. He likes his kennel, even though I never shut him in it. I don't have the heart to put it away because he really likes it.

I'm about to go scoot Sam & Wrigs out of the way so I can crawl into bed also. They will reposition themselves around me -- after the dog burrows under the covers, too.

7. I know what you mean - we had a 4-cat night last night
They usually drift off during the night to go sleep elsewhere, but it got kinda cold last night, and they were all still there when I woke up this morning. :D :hi:
