:yoiks: It was 75 degrees this past weekend and 65 as recently as Tuesday. It's 30 degrees here now and we have almost an inch of snow on the ground. Because the powers that be didn't decide to salt the roads (they usually salt when there's a threat of one little flake), some areas are really dangerous. The road I live on and the surrounding side roads are very slippery, and the main road I take to work is not a whole lot better. It's supposed to turn to rain and/or freezing rain by midday, but since when are weather forecasters correct???? :rofl:

I made it into work safely, but we'll see how things progress during the day. I hope everyone else is faring well!

But there are too many idiots in this area that have no idea, and they were the ones causing all the accidents this morning (and there were many). It's raining a little now, but the snow is still here on the ground and on everything else, and it's supposed to turn to freezing rain by late afternoon. I think I may let my staff go early today (and I might even duck out early too). :)

18. Winter passed us by

though everyone was freaked out yesterday, running on the supermarkets and hardware stores. Big story on the evening news. Nothing happened, 'cept some winter up in the mountains. :shrug:

I still had to go to work today. :P
