but, what a kiss it was.

We had met and then set up a casual drink date at a local pub type place. We hit it off well at the pub, and a while later, we ended up making out in the parking lot and her kissing just blew me away. But, her matter-of-fact response stunned me, "Oh, that's my husband."

The guy was amazing -- I think it was because he'd had an affair with his 8th grade teacher! He had the softest lips, and was a very sensual, subtle kisser -- none of this jam your tongue in her mouth and swirl it around stuff. Unfortunately, I thought that this was how kissing was normally done, but my next boyfriend turned out to be a genuinely horrible kisser (ya' hear that, Bob Baldocchi?) who blew that notion. He would lick the roof of my mouth and run his tongue around my gumline (?!?!) what the hell was that about?? Bleck.
