2. search through back archives of articles
for something that I know isn't there... just so we can write it in our methods section that we reviewed all articles in this database for articles on this topic.

3. You don't have to inspect a bunch of safety showers, do you?
Because that's pretty dull.

However it does get me away from the desk one day a week. :)

I've found that there are only two situations at work: the boring or the unpleasant.

I'll take the boring!

So you're looking through stuff so that you can say you looked through stuff, not because you're actually looking for anything in particular?

I do that a lot at work. We call it "Process".
