7. My GF lost her beloved grandma a few months ago too

She feels exactly the same way. Maybe they're hanging out together somewhere talking about how much they miss their grandkids and helping each other thru it.

I know what you are going through. It is hard to lose someone we love. For me, I felt that my grandparents loved me unconditionally, which did not seem to be the case with my own parents. I am sure that she wanted good things for you and will be with you in spirit.

I miss all my grandparents too -there is a void in my life where they used to be.

I take some consolation in the fact that my grandparents will live on in my many cherished memories of the time that we spent together, in their legacy of what they taught me about live and about their history and in the love, warmth and compassion that they showed to me throughout the all-to-brief time that I knew them.

But it's still hard. And I'm so, so sorry Bertha :hug: hug: :hug: :hug:

14. Bless your heart, I miss my grandparents so much

They've been gone 12 years, and I still dream about them. Grandma's 95th birthday would have been Christmas day.

Hang in there. There will always be a pain in your heart, but it will gradually fade little by little as time goes by. Grandparents are special, special people.
