Stop Making Sense
I can't believe I had never seen this film until yesterday night when my wife rented it. What an outstanding performance. Just downloaded the remastered version of Speaking in Tongues. I couldn't find my old CD copy. Good stuff.

2. aside from going to art school with them ....
I saw the performance at the Greek in '83 that Jonathan Demme also saw and decided to make this movie ..

They could have been superstars, were about to be, and Byrne walked away.
