I actually tried this 10-date system.I averted 2 catastrophes with it.Two other occasions,I didn't make it the full 10,and ended up with a psycho,and then a real gem who lived with his mom.

Currently,I am in a relationship of 3+ years with someone I waited until date #9 with.It sounds prudish,I know,but in my experience,once I've kissed someone,my discernment is out the window,and I'm running on hormones,lol.So,this kind of protects me from my bad choices.

OTOH,if I'm not looking for a partner,who cares?Kiss on the first date,life is short!

usually the end of the 3rd date is the 'deadline' for a couple to determine if things are going somewhere (via kiss or other physical affection) or if they will remain friends....I'm not german, and I don't know this guy, so only you can know how well things are progressing....good luck
