"(Take Me Back) To Dillard Street"- The Near Myths

As some of you know here, DU's own "Liberal Andy" passed on some months ago and is very much missed by a great many people here on DU as well as in the music community; the band he was in "The Near Myths" was the first DU artist I played on Radio Enigma w/ his "Fool Me Once", and I thanked him for showing me just how many talented musicians we have here at DU.

I got an email from the rest of the band (who have continued on w/ Andy's blessing)yesterday letting me know the ETA of their new CD as well as sending me the last song Andy completed before passing, "(Take Me Back) To Dillard Street"> Andy struggled to do the vocals and his guitar part, but he did it, and he did his song justice. It's a great song, one that deserved to be heard by as many people as possible.
