2. I haven't seen those yet

but I remember when I was an anti-war protester in 2003. As cars and trucks passed us we'd either get shouts/beeps of approval, or curses and hand gestures. A fair number of the approvers were people in their big, bad trucks with American flags hanging off them. I don't generalize any more.
