Those Star Wars episode 4-6 2 disc versions with the original cuts...
They can now be found new for $13.49 (only 5 months ago they sold for $24.99 each)

That's a little quick; is there another Star Wars box set on the horizon, with more altered footage and the possibility of a better cleanup of the original cuts?

3. Wal-Mart right now.
Expect others to follow suit.

Though I'm bound to return them anyway; I rarely watch the editions on laserdisc (either original THX editions, or the 1997 remastered ones on LD...)

Except Borders, who claims MSRP price leaves them little profit (riiiiiiiight...). Though they do have the original Battlestar Galactica for %59.99, and it used to sell for $119.99... But even at $60, even the original BG I'd get only for $30, and with my current promotions I could have had it for $43 - no thanks.

2. Yeah, there's a 30th anniversay boxset of all six films coming out
Although IIRC, it won't have the original cuts but whatever Lucas currently deems the final version. I think he's been fiddling with The Phantom Menace though. Then we'll get a whole host of new releases on Blu-Ray. Sadly still no Star Wars Holiday Special.

4. As expected.
Though for a proper anniversary edition, one would think ALL the editions would be nice.

But how many times can Georgie Porgie sell his pudding and pie for anyway?!
