My dad, Wild Bill Bouchard, has this younger friend who sees my dad as a kind of mentor. This year for my dad's birthday his friend gave my dad an accounting of various things he'd heard my dad say, and various dreams in which my dad appeared and journal entries about my dad. I thought this was such a cool thing to do.

My dad copied it and sent it to me, and I just wanted to share some of it with you.

I used to call him Wonderful Willie. ;-)

Can't help but wonder if his good luck noodles are the chow mein noodles I bought to make candy the last Christmas we were together. That's the Christmas you went to Grandma Jean's and your father told me he was leaving. Sort of hope that's the can of noodles and he keeps them forever because he'll never go hungry.
