Yes, I'm extraordinarily lucky. And to think, I found it when I was merely 19 years old. I consider the amazing love we have to be my compensation for having the horrifically tragic childhood and teen years that I did.

a shoebox full of unfulfilled or unfulfillable wishes, or a shoebox full of wishes that might/maybe/could/perhaps someday come true?

Also, when you say "true love" do you mean "true love" as one FEELS it to be true at the moment or "true love" from some more objective stance?
