Any pop culture milestones that you feel like you must've slept through?
For example, in my case:

Brett Butler
Lisa Loeb
Beverly Hills 90210
Designing Women
Ren & Stimpy
Johnny Bravo
Lollapalooza

1. I wish I could sleep through
Fergie's recording career. Unfortunately I'm very much awake.

2. Oh, there are plenty such examples for which I proudly take anesthesia
Reality TV, for one, though so many insist on trying to revive me with "I know you've said you hate reality TV but you should really check out..."
American Idol (which I guess fall in the above category)
Anything CSI
Ray Romano (not EVERYONE loves Raymond, I'm afraid)
Friends
Ultimate Fighting whatever (I say just bring back pistols at 10 paces)

4. I slept through some of those ...
As for the others, I seem to remember the pop, but believe me, there wasn't that much culture there.

8. "Friends". And I slept through it on purpose.
MrSG loved that show, so I would go hide out in "my" room when it was on. Unfortunately, sometimes I'd come upstairs when it was on, just in time to here the girls on the show chattering away like chipmunks! Blech!
