3. Apparently the grocery store was so crowded last night

That my friend (from Maine) just left. It's supposed to be 53 tomorrow... the snow will be gone by 10:00.

I never understood the need to stock up for a dusting of snow, but people always did.

4. Are you liking it, or do you have to drive somewhere amid the fraidy-cats?

Last week we had the first snowfall on the nearby mountain and there was the traditional photo of families who drove up the mountain to let their children experience snow. There were little kids trying to make snow angels in a dusting of snow. I hope their parents know how to get ground in dirt out of the backs of the kiddies' jackets.:P

7. I like snow

I hate driving on bad roads, especially icy or packed-down snowy roads. But, I ESPECIALLY hate driving among either: the fraidy cats or the people who think because they have 4-W drive they are invincible, and thus drive 60 mph and almost kill you when they slid and/or flip.

I bet Shenandoah National Park is a nice sight in snow. If the road's open.

9. VA usually gets alot of snow

You can cross country ski on the Skyline Drive and Parkway when they close the roads... and snowshoe on the trails.
