I am spending a week at my brother's place.
People just keep bring cold cuts, and cheese etc. I will stay here as long as I can.

5. In order to take care of your family
you must look after yourself also. I speak from experience as one who neglected her own well being. It catches up with you.
I hope your brother is doing ok under the circumstances.

you're a good soul Swede.

3. i spent over two years caring for my father while he was dying -- the last year
full time . he was bedridden.

i did everything for him. i mean everything.

people from my priest to hospice folk were always saying you have to take time out for yourself -- you have to do xyz or you'll burnout.

well, there was simply no one to do what i did -- and we didn't have money to hire anyone else.

i did it -- i did what i had to do. i didn't burn out -- and i didn't give up.

that's the way it is sometimes -- you have to take care of your family -- do what needs to be done.

you have my respect -- and my thoughts.
