6. Because the dead horse hasn't been flogged enough...
it needs to be greedily devoured too.
Silence of the Lambs was a masterpiece. Great reading. Great movie.
I haven't seen Hannibal, but I read the book...and it's horrible. Reads like it was written by a high schooler who had to cram every depraved excess imaginable into the book.

8. Movie wasn't fantastic. . .
Although for whatever reason I own it. . . I probably got it as a gift. . and I do watch it every now and then for a few scenes in it.

As for the book. "shrugs", I don't think it was that horrible . . . although the final umm "thinks for a moment" we'll see quarter of it . . umm . . yah . . . I could've done without.

Have you ever read Red Dragon the first book with Hannibal?

I'll probably see Hannibal Rising . . . it intrigues me enough for some reason . . .

But Silences of the Lambs will forever be one of my fav books and movies . . .

15. Manhunter
A great flick. Far better than Red Dragon, which was actually pretty good.

But, let's face it, this IS a dead horse. Hannibal's story has been well told. Nothing more need be said about him. Let the monster rest.

12. Looks like it may be pretty good to me.
The preview looked good. It's not like it's a tv show made to movie like the Dukes of Hazzard.

The cinemetography looked great in the preview.

13. i refuse to see horror movies
Cuz I like not having nightmares and I like not waking up screaming.

I was watching Silence of the Lambs on a tape, and as soon as Anthony Hopkins started hissing at Clarice, I turned it off.

16. Am I the only one who thinks that Anthony Hopkins' acting in those films
makes William Shatner look like Jason Robards?

Sorry that's two words. I have always wondered about the back story of Hannibal. I'm about 70 pages into the book and so far I'm not too impressed. I'll probably watch the movie when it makes it to DVD
