What does a mule cost?
I'm in the market for a riding mule. Does anyone know what I should expect to spend?

1. I would guess anywhere from $1200 to $4000 for a good....
mule that is broke and relatively young. If you buy one please post some pictures.

2. Thanks for the reply.
I will post some pics. My brother in law lives in North Eastearn OK, near MO. I'm hoping he can find a good one for me. I have a place to pasture one that has some other horses so the mule will have some company. I'm not looking for a rodeo, I just want one to have some fun with and ride in the mountains. I'll take excellent care of the animal.

it has links to KY, TX and OK mule sales.

Good luck. I hope you find a real nice mule and have a great time.

7. You should go to the dude ranch we visited
Every night, the mules would open the gates, and the horses would either mosey on out or stampede. Every morning, the kids had to go round up the livestock.

So there's plenty of free-range mules wandering the area on a given morning.

/I'd be embarrassed to be regularly outsmarted by a mule...
