1. Awesome stuff!
I don't have the counterspace for making it at home, but there's a "take and bake" bakery nearby that I frequent.

2. that's a great thing
my h bakes a lot, but he hasn't made ciabatta. He's made french a number of times, but sourdoughs are a lot more work, I guess.

He's so happy since I bought him the mixer with the dough hook.

We've just been on a ciabatta kick, lately, I was at Whole Foods yesterday and I couldn't stop myself. (I bought some overly expensive macaroons, too. Boy were they good.)

3. I have to say that Ciabatta is probably my least favorite artisian bread.
It's okay, but I don't care for the open texture.

6. I like the more dense, solid breads and the flatbreads like naan.

11. I like the deserty Indian breads (and non sweet as well)
actually, there really aren't many breads that I don't like. But the texture of ciabatta is really wonderful.
