13. Dentaku is pretty hilarious
Japanese version of Pocket Calculator sung by our German friends...it's very dance-y. I like it as much as the original.

7. Are they still fahrend auf dem Autobahn?
Greatest late-night driving tune, EVER. Followed closely by "Radar Love." They've both sustained me through many a 3 AM barreling-up-I-91 run.

Honorable mention: "Time Has Come Today."

Kraftwerk
When Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider put together Kraftwerk (german for 'Power Station') in 1968, they were in search of a sound that could be considered uniquely German. Eschewing the American and British pop music of the day, Kraftwerk experimented with new technologies and looked to the industrial world immediately around them for inspiration. By 1977, when Kraftwerk released Trans-Europe Express , attentions were being drawn away from London and toward Germany. David Bowie was already calling Berlin home, and it was there that he and producer Eno would record several Kraftwerk-inspired experimental albums of his own (the adventures of Bowie and Iggy Pop in Berlin were documented in Pop's classic track "The Passenger"). One of the flagship bands of the British new romantics, Ultravox, had made a pilgrimage to Germany and were recording their music in Cologne. Just about every new wave/synth act of the early '80s has sited Kraftwerk as one of their chief influences. The Eurosynth sound crafted by "krautrock" bands such as Kraftwerk was present in the dance music of the '80s , and has made a huge comeback in the '90s as "electronica." Kraftwerk themselves have also embarked on a comeback of their own, and are currently touring
