LeftyKid hurt me earlier today while we were playing around. He's just left for his Dad's house and I really really want to take some pain meds and go to bed. But I have homework to do, so I can't yet. I hurt bad enough I could cry if I let myself think about it. I don't know how I'm going to get my work done.

I remember after Thanksgiving, I was bitching to LostinVA about how much I hurt and I couldn't figure out why. Then, I realized I had been wrestling with a 7-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl for several hours. Sure they were little, but so am I and repeated lifting and tossing wears on the body.

Take a little break, and alternate heat and ice on your neck. That usually helps me if I can't take pain meds at a particularl time.

The little guys sure like to wrestle, don't they? Couple of months ago, I was visiting my family, and my 3 year old nephew wanted to wrestle with his Aunt SeattleGirl. He likes it when you lay on the floor, and he runs across the room and jumps on you! I nearly didn't get my arms up in time once, and he coulda broken my ribs! (He likes to pretend he's a Power Ranger!)

I lost my job last year. I have another, not so good one now, but going to the doctor is out of the question unless I happen to be dying.

The neck problem is ongoing. Physical therapy was helping back when I had insurance. Now I've got my stash of pills left over from the last pharmacy run before my coverage went away, and when that's gone I suppose I could go to Mexico and get some there or something.

I did something screwy with my neck as well. Slept on it funny over a week ago. It is still killing me, especially first thing in the morning. I should probably get it looked at.
