This is a piece about a new documentary of the life of Dale Earnhardt, written by the Observer's motorsports editor.

This joker has been writing about NASCAR for 25 years, he goes to the Daytona 500 every year, and he wrote today that Dale Earnhardt won the 2000 Daytona 500.

Earnhardt won the 1998 500. Dale JARRETT won the 2000 race. Two totally different guys. (For starters, one of them is still alive.)
