When you get to be that famous all the hard work is done for you...a choreographer figures out all your moves, a producer cleans up the images and your publicist does all the footwork.

All you do is show up for rehersal and show up at parties.

I know musicions and actors who have worked themselves to the bone for decades and they are still working temp jobs and will die in obscurity.

Showbusiness is a strange beast. You can't predict who will get famous or who will be popular.

10. Luck is definitely a factor.

I'm not a fan of Britney. At all. But she has been working almost her whole life. She was on Broadway, Star Search, the Mickey Mouse Club, all before her teens. You have to put some effort in to for that to happen.

It doesn't mean that her talent is such that she deserves all the fame and money she has. I think a lot of that is attributable to a good set of implants and a willingness to show them off.
